UNISON members working in local government will soon receive ballot papers to elect representatives to the national body called the Service Group Executive. This body meets during the year and acts as the governing body for the local government sector.
Sandwell General Branch has nominated David Hughes from the Birmingham Branch for the seat up for election.
David Hughes recently attended Sandwell’s rally in support of our members fighting fire and rehire at Sandwell Leisure Trust.
